In Memory of Mom
Walking the journey with my siblimgs during our mom's health decline changed me. I learned how family dynamics, geography, budget, preferances, relationships, and a general lack of aging knowledge all played a role in the decisions we made to help mom. We didn't know all that we needed to know to navigate this path. We learned as we walked it. This life event created a career pivot for me for which I am so grateful. Now I have training and on-the-job experience in assisted living and memory care communities to help families. I wish we had known a professional like me existed to assist us because we would have made better decisions for all involved. Be prepared for your family.
